RELSON GRACIE JIU-JITSU

Son of the legendary Helio Gracie, Relson Gracie moved to Hawaii in 1988.
He began learning Jiu-Jitsu at 2 and entered his first competition at the
tender age of 10! He was the Brazilian National Champion for 22 years
straight, and during this period went undefeated. He became so popular
that he attained the nickname “Campeao” or “Champion” among his friends
and fans. Upon his arrival to Honolulu, it was with great pleasure that
Relson introduced the art of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu to the Aloha State. Relson
continues to instruct his students in Hawaii, across the Mainland United
States and Brazil. He and his top instructors have lead his team to an
unprecedented amount of individual and team competition titles. Relson
along with his brother Rorion are the highest ranked and most experienced
Jiu-Jitsu practitioners actively teaching in the United States.

RONN SHIRAKI
Black Belt under Relson Gracie, Ronn Shiraki began training with Relson in
the mid 90’s. He has won a myriad of state, national, and international level
Jiu-Jitsu competitions starting from 1996 until 2006. He has also been
instructing since 1998 starting with his Jiu-Jitsu teaching career with Rickson
Gracie’s Black Belt Pedro Sauer in Utah. He then continued his tutelage in
Hawaii under Relson Gracie’s watchful eye. Since 2002, Ronn has exclusively
taught Jiu-Jitsu at the Kaneohe Team but now instructs and mentors
students at both the Honolulu and Kaneohe locations. Ronn also holds a
masters degree in clinical psychology and works as the director of
administration for the Gracie Hawaii Association.
